CRCESUS.
Friday, June 9. This company have decided to extend No. 2 tunnel a further distance of 200 feet. A few days since hands were put on to cros3-cut east and west, in No. 2 level to ascertain whether the driving had missed the line of reef. The western cross-cut is now in about 15 feet, and stone may be struck at any moment. It is proposed to drive 20 or 30 feet, each way. The company ia also constructing 19 chains of water-race, to bring in water to supply air blast in the continuation of No: 2 level.
