At the extraordinary meeting of shareholders held on Monday last it was resolved to form a new company, to be called the Walhalla Extended Quartz M ining Company, Limited ; capital to be £24,000, in 24,000 shares of £1 each, ten shillings per share being considered as paid up. The shares are open for application pro rata to the shareholders of the present company, during the current month, on payment of an allotment call of 3d. per share. The company's new lease now includes the old Kldorado ground, and operations are now being carried on conjointly with the Just-in-Time Company, Boatman's, driving a cross-cut level for the western reef, which, when intersected, will place both properties in a prominent position amongst our dividend paying mines.
