(FKOM OUR OWN CORUESPONDENT.) Dunedin, 21. Judge Williams to-day -suspended for two years the order of discharge in bankruptcy of John Plank, ex hotelkeeper, for paying his mother £81, and spending -__1, after knowiug he was in insolvent circumstances. The Kiroueo, now about 90 days out from Newcastle to Port Chalmers, has been given up. She was owned by Kennedy Bros, of Greymouth Captain Stevens- was in command, and he leaves a wife and eight young children. A subscription 'in aid of the family has beeu started in Melbourne and Greymouth. A proposal has been received from the Dunedin Mutual Company to amalgamate with the head office at Dunedin, but it is not likely to eventuate. Dr. Pbilson who was suffering from blood poisoning is now considered out of danger.
