MORNING STAR.

Two men are on the ground prospecting for the reef, though as yet they have not been successful in the search. That they will get it there can be no doubt, for this ground is between the Guiding Star and the Golden Crown, in both of which claims it has been traced to the boundaries abutting on the Morning Star.

Altogether the reports of the above named gentleman are most satisfactory and encouraging, and it is to be hoped that there will be no hitch whatever in the contemplated arrangements between the holders of the claims and the old company with reference to the use of their battery, when put in proper working order.
