The report that a warrant had been issued for the arrest of the mysterious individual known as "No. 1," who directed the movement of the Assassins' Committee, is now stated to be incorrect, as up to the present time no clue has been obtained to his identity. Egan, the treasurer of the Irish Land. League, has levanted to Spain, taking with him the principal books and papers of the League.
