The winze was on Saturday last clown 91 feet. From the top to 50 feet clown, the reef averages 3 feet in thickness. From 50 feet to 89 feet it gradually narrowed aud at this depth only 6 inches of quartz is showing, but with the last two feet more favourable country was, met, and stone is now making from the south, which is believed to be a continuation of the outcrop of tho reef crossing the creek. There are at present about 178 tons of quartz in the Company's paddock.
