INANGAHUA LOW LEVEL TUNNEL.
In order to better secure the title of the company to the land along the line of the tunnel, it has been arranged with the Government to have the area included under the denomination of a special claim. Steps in this direction were accordingly taken during the week by repegging the ground. Work in the tunnel is proceeeding steadily, but the hardness of the country now being passed through has prevented fast work. The formation continues regular.
