In his letter to the secretary he says : — "I do not propose to participate in any ofganised reception of Mr Redmond, because I am not a Land Leaguer, neither do I propose to join the league. I shall avail myself of the opportunity of extending to Mr Redmond privately every consideration, because he Js a representative of a minority of the people of Gre&t Britain, and of a vast majority of the people of Ireland."
