GOLDEN TREASURE.
Tenders to close on Saturday, 22nd instant, have been called for the conveyance of the machinery from Black's Point to the machine site. There, is some twenty tons altogether, but its transport will not occupy many days after the contract is let. The erection of the plant will be proceeded with as it arrives, the foundations and other preparatory works being all ready to receive it. There is nothing new to report from the mine. The drive north is proceeding steadily, the distance •rematiung to be driven to cut the reef being somewhere about 60ft.
