The usual fortnightly retorting took plac to-day, when the amalgam on hand was reduced , and gave 2200z5. of gold. The company have now two rock-drills at work upon the immense faces of stone, and the mine is in the most efficient working- order.
JUST-IN-TIME AND IMPERIAL ; Work is still being proceeded with in the cross-cut, and 20ft. was made during the week, bringing the total : distance driven along the boundary up to 116 ft.
