GLOBE.
The first weekly scraping took place at the battery to-day, when 2050zi? of amalgam was taken , from the top plates. This return being exclusive of the contents of the stamper boxes which were not touched, [ is very sa isfactory, considering the fact that the plates were now, and ! would naturally absorb a good deal of gold in curing. The crushing will be L continued to the end of November, i when a general cleaning up will be made, and a substantial parcel of j amalgam looked for. The tramway is now in full work, and everything is running very smoothly.
