There was a remarkable rush to the Property Tax office this morning to make the required payments, this being the last day on which they will be received without a fine of 10 per cent being added. Several very heavy sums were paid during the day. Arrangements have been made to obtain on Monday full telegraphic reports of the recipts at all office's in the Colony. It is expected that the total amount received up to to-night will exceed £200,000. •
