REEFTON JOCKEY CLUB.
The autumn meeting under the auspices of the above club opened yesterday morning. The weather was fine, but the attendance was short of previous years owing no doubt to the counter attraction of the Boatmau's Carnival and also to the fact of the Greynionth racfsj being held on the same day. The racing howeverewan on the whole keenly contested, and though the time was slow, there was no lack of interent. The usual conrse games were fairly represented and found ample patronage.
