REEFTON HOSPITAL.

*. A meeting of the Reefton Hospital Committee, was held at the County Council Chambers on Wednesday evening, Jnne 3rd, 1885. . Present : Messrs G. B. Shepherd, (chair), G. C. Bowman, C. B. Kivg, J. C. Craig, W. Williams and the secretary. The minutes of the previous meet ing were read and confirmed. The urgeon Superintendent's report was read aud adopted. A letter from the Colonial Secretary in reply to Mr Menteath's application for a building grant was received. It stated that there was no funds available, and that it would be necessary to wait until a uew vote was made by Parliament. The Visiting Committee reported having found everything, at the Hospital in' it satisfactory oondition,. and had given the steward authority to get repairs done to out-buildings.
