The Turkish Ministry has been remodelled, Kaimil Pasha is appointed Grand Vizier and President of the Council, in place of Said Pasha. Bkblin. 25. It is announced that Germany and Spain have mutually agreed to accept the mediation of Hia Holiness the Pope in the settlement of the difficulty which bas arisen as to occupation of the Caroline Islands. Received Sept. 26, 8.15 p.m. Sydney, 26. The fourth days races of the A. J. C, Spring Meeting were run to-day at Randwick . There was a good attendance, and with the exception of a slight fall of rain the meeting was a great success. Randwick Plate. Distance 3m ls. Weight for age. This was secured by Nordenfeldt, who simply cantered until reaching the last mile, which he did in very fast time, Percussion was second, ami Eagle Grange third. Time, seven minutes forty seconds. Received Sept. 26, 9. p.m. Sydney, 26. Steeplechase, distance about three miles, was won by Denmark, with Lizette, second, tlhlan, third. Eight horses started. Time six minutes, fifty- four seconds. Adelaide, 26. Wheat is worth one penny more than last week in the market, 4s Id to 4s 2d ; Flour unaltered, town quoted l8 5s to £8 10s, and country *7 12b Od to £7 17s 6d per ton. Constantinople, 25. So far as is known, no very definite results have as yet attended Sir Henry Drummond Wolffs minion to the Porte. He leaves here next week for Egypt.
