UNITED ITALY.
FfUnwr March. 12. The contractors in the United Italy have finished sinking winze 20 feet. The directors met last Tuesday, and decided to pnt on two men to square the shaft down and timfcer it, and they commenced work yesterday. At the termination of the contract there was a considerable body of stone to the westward, which it is intended to take out previous to timbering. The directors also met on Thnraday 'at the office of the manager, Mr James Inglis, for the further consideration of the best means of working their mine, and decided to let Potter'i leader and other leaders known to exists eastward, for the term of two years. The tributers are Luca FantHla and Dominion Roßeitti. We believe that the terms offered by the trihutors are highly favourable to the company. In the meantime the company will proceed with, the winze on the main reef, which is considerably to the west of leaders.
