In regard to the laying aside of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Bill, Sir J. Vo S el said the Bill would l>e brought down by message to-morrow, and he hoped the House would pass it through all its stages.

The Speaker drew attention to an erroi in the Loan Bill, which contained in the third clause power to raise a loan of L 1,500,000,, 500,000, instead of LI ,825, 000. He would make the alteration to the amount as a consequential am-
