The tenners for tri'mfe sen* in not heing considered satisfactory, nothing was done in 'he matter, and the directors have decided to take steps to open up the North Star Mock at a lower level. Tenders for this work are now undei consideration. Good headway continues to l»e made with the extension of »he main low level; ECLrPSE. The vein of stone met with last jjpek did not prove of any great importer**, and its track was therefore not followed. The drive is still being pushed on and the country is promising.
