+ TWO CHINAMEN IMPLICATED. [UNITED PHESS ASSOCIATION.] Donedin, January 30. A young man, William Guy, was received into the hospital a few days ago suffering great pain m the stomach, having received a severe thrust from a bamboo cane wieldtd by a Chinaman. The injuries were at first thought not to be serious, but yesterday he became so bad that an operation became necessary, and hia depositions were taken. Two Chinamen, Ah Yarn, a fish hawker, and Gee Loy, vegetable hawker, have been arrested. Guy states that while he and another man were playing with a ball it accidentally struck one of the Chinamen, who became enraged, and getting the assistance of another man attacked the young men, when Guy received a thrust from a bamboo rod. January 31. Guy died last night. He was 26 years of age and a milkman.
