FRENCH REACH ST. QUENTIN SUBURBS.
GERMANS SACKING THE TOWN

(Received April 14, 11.40 a.m.) PARIS, April 13. Mr Wood, the correspondent, giving details, states that the French, have reached the suburbs of St. Quentin. He asserts that the capture of St. Gobain and St. Quentin, according to French strategists, means the breaking of the Hindenburg line. The Germans are believed to be engaged in sacking St. Quentin. Many fires can be seen. Prisoners assert that' Prince Eitel •Fri.edrich ordered tlie destruction of the town.
