WELLINGTON, April 14. A largely attended stop-work meeting of the Wellington. Waterside Workers' Thxion was held to*-dar, at whioh it was decided to take a ballot of members of unions affiliated with the New Zealand Waterside Workers' Foderation on tne question, whether the agreement arrived at at the recent conference between employers and •■vatersidf-rs* representatives he. acceptod or rejected. The ballot will take place on Monday or Tuesday. Resolutions iv.ere •also passed requesting the Governor to review the sentence passed on Oliver Noakes, and sympathising with the coal miners on ■strike.
