THE SCHOOL I NSPECTOR.
The Wanganui Herald concluding an article m the case of the dismissed School Inspector, remarks : — ." We are inclined to think the amendment would have fairly met the case, and it is due here to say that wo think Mr Suelson not only showed a sound haart but great courage m refasing to vote for his resointion after he had become convinced that a less penalty would be sufficient to satisfy justice. It is highly to his credit that he would not be fa.se to his convictions, though conscious that the charge of inconsistency might be made against him. In selecting Mr tfoulis' successor great care will have to be shown m finding the combination of qualities necessary to the highest success. A perfect Inspector is abont one of the rarities of the age."
