j. Thursday morning. i : Laery and Campbell report that there have been no transactions worth mentioning m farm pioduee during the past week. The items most worthy of notice are— Oats, which are not nearly , so fivm. as they were; potatoes, which are, coming forward freely, and have suffered a* decided fall m price ; butter has been more brisk than of late, and . 7£d to 8d has been realised for prime samples ; onions, plentiful and slow of Bf^le at £7 per ton ; poultry, supply slack ; eggs, guaranteed fresh, realised 1» BcT. The fruit market.is very much oyer-suppjied and, m consequence, prices have been low and a great deal of fruit will. not keep ; copkiuj; apples ace' unsaleable. One or two mobs of store sheep (ineriuoes),. ~have been placed, but the great craving among farmers seems to lie lor cross Jjreds. .There was not a heavy hovso market bit .Saturday, but the lots that were quitted were quite tip. to ownersV expectations.
