THE OTHER SIDE.
\ The Auckland Freeman's Journal Says Sir William Fox and hk rabbid followers think all publicans are scoundrels. The consequence is the publican? and many others think the Good Templars mad. Those who know Sir William pay little heed to what he says, and it Good Templars, as a rule, are as unreliable as the Knight of Westoe, who, not long since, grew prize barley for malting purposes on his farm, we cannot say much for. them. A man who cannot refrain from drinking to excess without becoming a Good Templar is not up to much. We have na desire to see all the Hotels shut up; nor any wish to,. make all men drink coffee who prefer beer ; and, therefore, cannot give the Templar people a vote next Tuesday.
