Manchester Road Board.

The usual monthly meeting of the Man* Chester hoad Boaid was held at the Board's office, Feilding, on Saturday, April 26th, 1884, at 2 p.u}< Wardens present — JHesEra Bailey (Chairman), Lethbridtre, Jones and Cotter. Sorrenson &Co., formation, 25s per chain, culvert, 61)*, (imforma) , Younger and Laing, lump uuai, £175 l^s,(iaiformal) ; Wilson and Geangp, formation, 30s per chain, metalling, 66s 61 per chain, culvert, 60s ; Behrendt and Go,, formation, 20s per chain, metalling, 70s per chain, culvert, 2s 6 J per foot ; J. Aitket I ', formation, 263 per chain, metalling, 60a per chain, culvert 80s. Proposed by Mr Leth bridge seconded .by Mr Jones, that Mes«rs Craine and Jauhiti'B tender be sccepted for formation and culvert only. Carried. Proposed by ; Mr Leihbiidge seconded by Mr Jones, that Mr Bailey act as Trea« surer ia the absence of Mr Macarthur.
