MESSRS PALMERSON AND SCOTT, Surveyors and Commission Agents, beg to announce that they have just opened a branch of their land agency business in India, with which they have arranged for the extensive advertising of properties for sale in this district. Already mauy clients have been making inquiries, and the firm anticipate a considerable demand ior land in Manawatu by residents of India. They are now prepared to receive, for transmission to their brauch office in India, full particulars of farms and rural properties in these districts, improved or otherwise, of which the owners wish to dispose. They bave reason to believe that with the special advantages of soil, climate, and geographical position which Manawatu offers, that many transactions advantageous lo the vendors end the district will be effected. The firm will exert themselves to the utmost in the interests of ihe vendors or agents, and will be satisfied with a reasonable commission. They trust this effort to introduce a new and desirable class of settlers will be appreciated, and they give their assurance that no effort shall be wanting on their part to secure the best value obtainable for their clients. It is desirable that no time should be in forwarding to their Palmerston office all the required particulars for early transmission to India.
