Messrs Walker a.nd Hatrick report jjrainjaudiprb&uce prices as follows : — Oats.-^The supply t»f local grown are. almost if not quite exhausted, they have therefore to be imported which is greatly to be regretted, as the district should be exporting. We quote prices at present for prime feeding sorts at 2s 8d to 2s 9d ; milling, 2s lid to 3s; imported seed ditto, 3s to 3s 3d. Potatoes. — Good demand, £2 10s tv £2 15s per ton ; flour, £10 ; bran, £4 pollard, £5} milling wheat, 38 6d to 3s 10d;fowl wheat, 2s 6d to 2s 9d ; feed barley, 2s 6d ; maize, scarce, 3s 6d ; beans', 4s ; chaff, £3 to £4 ; hay, £2 10s to £3 per tou. . . '■",'" Farmers having any really good salt butter on haud will find no difficulty m getting 7£d to 8d per lb m town for it at present.
