Wellington Produce Markets.
Laeiy and Campbell report :— Fresh butter may he qouted at 9il ; th re is no prime salt m the market, and low quality of keg is very hard to place at any pnee ; eggs may be quoted at lOd to lid ; cheese, 4£ to 5d ; hams and bacon, 9d ; we are still without any poultry to quotf». Flour remains without alteration at £9. Fowl wheat may still be quoted at 2s Od ; oats continue to harden m price ; maize is Rcarce, and may be quoted at 4s to 4s 4d ; potatoes aro without any alteration, but the market is somewhat unsettled, owing to their offering so much more freely, and the anxiety to deal m them has quite died out during the past week ; new potatoes on Saturday realised 2^d per lb by auction ; onions continue to be scarce, there being only a few cases of American onions m the market. There was a very large attendance at the horse yard on Saturday , and most of the lots submitted found purchasers at owners prices. A well-selected mixed mob would now pay well for bringing m. •
