Wednesday, Oct. 15. Prices for cattle are somewhat easier, excepting for steers. There is a fair inquiry for good useful bullocks. The bidding for sheep was brisk, and prices realised were m advance of those obtained at the previous sale. Pigs were mi limited numbers, and sold w«U. Cattle. — Fat cows, medium quality, made from £3 3s 6d to 4J4 15s ; 3-year-old bullocks, £5 ; 2-year-olds, £3 3s 6d ; mixed steers, £2 4s ; yearlings, £1 6s. Sheep. — Fat wethers, 15s good store weathers, 12s 3d ; hoggets, 8s Id. Pigs. — Porkers from 16s to£18s; larger sorts, £1 lls. . Horses. — A few sold at usual rates.
