Frozen Mutton.
(Post's London Correspondent.) London, Sept, 26. The dock companies have consented to meet the wishes of the importers of frozen mutton, and will reduce the storage rates about 25 or 30 per cent. This U a most important point gained, and should put renewed heart into the shippers, i The sales of frozen meat at the Heaitheriej have been re-conimencod f and are larger than ever. On Saturevening last every scrap of mutton m the refrigerators was cleared out. Mr Tomkins, the pioprietor of the Australasian Grill at the Exhibition, is about te start New Zealand Restaurants m various parts of London (Kensington and the City to begin with), where a chop and bread and potatoes can be obtained at the same price as at the Healtheries, viz., Bd. He will make plenty of money out of the sobeme, ■ The sales of frozen mutton m the provinces oontiuue to increase. At the Bradford depdt last week 300 carcases were cut .up and disposal of. .New depots have just been opened at Chorley, Stafford, Newmarket, and Lepminster.
