LEAGUE COUNCIL.
DR. STRESEMANN’S ATTITUDE. VIGOROUS LANGUAGE USED. TONDON, Dec. 3. Sir Austen Chamberlain has arrived in Paris, where he will remain until Saturday, when he goes to Geneva for the session of the League of Nations Council. Dr. Stresemann, who yesterday conferred with Tchitclierin, leaves Berlin to-day. In a semi-official communique he uses vigorous language regarding the attitude he intends to adopt. He says that although Germany under the Versailles Treaty is bound to submit to ah investigation of military matters on behalf of the League, when the Allied Commission is withdrawn she intends firmly to resist any perpetuation of the existing form of control.—A. and N.Z. cable.
