BOOTLEGGER’S CRIME.
“FAR AS I GO, BOYS.” ' SAN FRANCISCO. N*v. 24. San Francisco witnessed its first coldblooded murder this morning in the Government’s war against bootleggers and their millions. Police-officers George "Wentworth and Daniel Mangin arrested Burrill Morris, who was caught red-handed with a launch filled with liquor. They were conveying Morris to the lock-up when he suddenly whipped out a revolver, saying: “This is as far as I go, boys.” Ho killed them both, and leaped from the motor ear and escaped, according to the story told • by the chauffeur.
