NEW SUBMARINES.
SIX LARGE VESSELS ORDERED
COST THREE MILLION POUNDS.

LONDON, Dec. 5. The Star states that the Government has ordered six submarines costing £3,000,000. Three to be built by Vickers at Barrow, two by Beardinores at Glasgow, and one by the Government dockyard. —A. and N.Z. cable.
