DISEASE IN FISH.
EXPLORER’S STATEMENT. LONDON, Nov. 26. “Do mackerel catch measles?” asks the Daily News, following a lecture by the explorer, Mr Mitchell Hedges, who said that fish suffer from forms of cancer, measles and tuberculosis. He suggested that a systematic examination of the sea might provide a cure for cancer.
