FISHING AT TAUPO.
RECORD CATCH REPORTED
TAUPO, Dec. 7. Trolling on the launch Whizbang yesterday in the western bay, J. Sheehan and party caught 67 fine rainbow trout, averaging about 71b., the heaviest weighing 1311 b. This catch constitutes a record for the season at the Taupo end. Mr Sheehan reports that the fish are plentiful and hopes to exceed this catch before the end of the season.
