CHESS BY WIRELESS. LONDON, Dec. 1. Major Sir Richard Barnett, the president of the House of Commons Chess Circle, has, according to the chess writer of the Times, written to Melbourne to Mr Josiah Thomas suggesting a parliamentary two-days’ wireless match, to bfe played between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Greenwich time, equivalent to 52i moves per player. He suggests the use of Kuhn’s code, and proposes that each messugo should be prefaced with confirmation of the opponent’s last move.
