CHRISTMAS IN ENGLAND. RETURN VIA UNITED STATES. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received December 9, 12.30 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 8. Mr Healy, president of the Irish Free State, has telegraphed to Mr and Mrs Coates offering them the hospitality of Government House at Dublin.

Mr Coates will be addressing a meeting under the auspices of the Imperial Partnership Organisation at the Belfast City Hall, and then will be visiting Londonderry, returning from Belfast to Liverpool, for an inspection of the docks, at which city he will he the guest of the Lord Mayor. He will then proceed to France on December 17 and will return to England for Christmas.

Mrs Coates will accompany Mr Coates throughout his tours. They will return to New Zealand, via the United States and Canada, ahead of the Duke and Duchess of York.—A. and N.Z. cable.
