OFFENCES ADMITTED.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 9. Clifton Webb Verran, aged 28 pleaded guilty to-day to 18 charges covering various offences and was committed for sentence on bail. Two informations related to forgerv of import entries by the use of a rubber stamp for the signature of the collector of Customs, the forgery of the name of i V ool ® r to import entries (four charges) and twelve charges of fraudulently omitting to account to the collector °, f Customs at Auckland for £230 all of which had been refunded by accused since the date, of his arrest, November 23.
