FEILDING SALE.
FAIR DEMAND FOR FAT SHEEP
NO DAIRY CATTLE OFFERED. [Special to “Standard.”] FEILDING, Dec. 10. There was a medium yarding of fat sheep at to-day’s stock sale at Feilding There was a fair demand and prices remained steady. Store sheep were entered in good numbers and most lines sold under the hammer. No dairy cattle were offered, but a heavy yarding of store cattle met with a declining market. Prices up to one o’clock were as follow:
Shorn wethers 20s 6d, 21s, 22s 3d, 255; shorn ewes 15s, 16s 2d, 16s 6d, 17s 6d, 18s, 19s, 19s 6d; shorn hoggets 18s, 18s 4d, 20s, 20s 4d; m.s. twotooth hoggets 15s; shorn four-tooth wethers 15s 4d.
Empty young cows £2 10s 6d; yearling Jersey heifers 21s 6d, 32s 6d; 15months Jersey heifers £2 4s; empty heifers 255; store cows £1 to £2 12s; 18months Shorthorn steers 295.
