Redmayne pointed out there had been little research affecting brown coal considering the commeNiti possibilities of the vast deposits within the Empire. He described Latrobe’s Valley, Victoria, as the most remarkable in theworld, though New Zealand’s was the most valuable.—A. and N.Z. cable.
