PRINCE OF WALES.

ATTENDS EAST END DANCE. LONDON, Dec. 9. The Prince of Wales, who last week partnered several girl workers at an ex-service men’s dance in South London, last night attended an ex-service men’s club dance in the East End, after which he accompanied a group into a public-house nearby, the “Bricklayers’. Arms,” Stepney Green. “What’ll you have?” cried a score of voices from the crowd in the bar. "A glass of ale,” said the Prince, “and I’ll draw it myself.” He thereupon went behind the bar, drew the ale, nodded to the crowd, drank, and then departed amid cheers.—A. and N.Z. cable.
