SPEED TYPEWRITING. Word has come to hand that the following students of tho Palmerston North Technical School have qualified for Pitman’s speed typewriting certificates at the examination held in May last: —Day pupils: Senior grade, Hazel Boyle 65, Bessie Holland 86, Mary Joyce 83, Ethel Leger 84 Rita Smeaton 87. Junior Grade: William Bryden 90 (distinction). Sylvia C.ane 94 (distinction), Phyllis Davison 85, Kate Haselden 69, Thelma Jackson 86, Dorothy Shaw 76. Evening Pupils: Junior Grade, Gladys Bacon 80, Winifred McDougall 84, Cora McNeile 68, Mollie McShane 75, Rene Seward 85, Melva Wright 85, Gertrude Allen 91 (distinction). Senior Grade: Kathleen Fahy 86, Elvina Morgan 82, Lolita Whitehouse 85, Joyce O’Neill 78.
