CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor)
Sir, —In reading your issue of the 6th inst., I noticed a report therein of a deputation waiting on the Mayor regarding the prospects of work. Now, Sir, as a ratepayer I must congratulate the Mayor one one point, and that is, that those unemployed get turn about with those employed. The idea is a good one, and I think that it would have a good effect in other ways.—l am etc. A RATEPAYER.
