"WANDERING STOCK. (Fieri Our Own Correspondent). BULLS, Sept. 10. As a result of Inspector Fowler’s visit to Parewanui Road recently, several Maoris werb prosecuted for allowing stock to wander on the road, and Mr R. M. Watson, S.M., inflicted the following fines: Teko Ngaheke, 10s, costs 16s; Mita Warbrick, 10s, costs 16s; and Joe Governor, 15s, costs 21s. BOXING TOURNAMENT. The secretary of the Rangitikei Boxing Association has received confirmation that boxers from Taumarunui, Pahiatua, Feilding, Taihape and other centres will fulfil their engagements hero on Wednesday night, and a first-class tournament is assured. All arrangements are well in hand, and a big “house” is expected. RANGITIKEI LADIES’ GOLF CLUB. Correspondence was read as follows: From Wellington South District Lodge, regarding postal ballot for Robekah District Lodges; from Grand Lodge, requestting that returns be sent in as soon as possible; for Orient Lodge, extending an invitation to a social.

Tho first nomination of officers resulted as follows: —N.G., Bro. E. Petersen, V.G.; V.G., Bros. L. F. Homes and R. Young; recording secretary, Bro. R. Kemp; Financial Secretary, Bro. K. Dwyer; Treasurer, Bro. L. Hill, V.G. Bro. J. J. Mansell, P.G., reported having visited Pyramid Lodge, and conveyed fraternal greeting on behalf of this lodge, Pyramid Lodge asked him to reciprocate the fraternal greeting on their behalf.
