GREATER SYDNEY.
SCHEME ABANDONED. OLD FORM OF CITY COUNCIL Received September 11, 11.10 a.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 11. The practical abandonment of the Government’s Greater Sydney scheme was decided on at a meeting of the combined National and Country Parties to-day. It was decided, therefore, to revert to the old form ol City Council. The Government election of the council will probably be made in the middle of 1930.
