Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 14. • In the final of the Auckland provincial amateur billiard championship (1000 up) E. V. Roberts, the title holder, is leading by 501 points to 449 against A. Bowie, the Dominion champion (who with a break of 150 beat E. J. Morrison by 500 points to 450 in the semi-final). Mr Roberts twice topped £0 with 72 and 60, but Mr Bowie’s best was 43. The final session will be held to-night.
