FEILDING
DISTRICT NURSE ASSOCIATION. . Rev. Canon Petrie presided over the monthly meeting of the Feilding District Nurse Association, when there were also present: Mesdames Bridge, Billman, Farmer, Fisher, Sporle and Pack and Mr Goldsmith. Accounts amounting to £llO 9s Gd were passed for payment. Sister Smith reported paying 291 sick visits to 42 patients, seven were discharged, one was sent to the hospital and one died. Clothing was given to 10 families and food was distributed to the same’ number. Gifts of clothing were received from Mesdames Camplin, Colcjuhoun, Crisp, Entwistle, Barltrop, Burnley. Anonymous and the Kimbolton Bible Class. Cakes were sent from St. Paul’s Church, the Colyton Cricket Club and Anonymous, and jam from “Mollie” and Mrs Penny. Sewing was done for an aged patient from Mrs Kitchen. Donations as follow were received:—Mr Poole £l, Mrs Stephen Fisher £1 Is, Mrs IV. Mills ss, Friend 10s, Mr Goldsmith £1 Is, Form V. High School 2s 9d, Mrs McLean 10s 6d, “Grateful” £2, Mrs E. Fair £l, Feilding Methodists intermediate young women’s Bible class 10s.
