GORED BY BULL.
YOUNG MAN KILLED. AUCKLAND, Sept. 13. Reginald Milne, of Otorobanga, aged 25, died while he was being taken to the Waikato Hospital to-day suffering from severe injuries to his stomach, chest and leg through being gored by a bull. Mr Milne was a single man, and was employed oil the farm of Mrs Selbie. . . About 10 o’clock this morning, while attending cattle in a paddock, ho was attacked by a big pedigree Jersey bull, which caught him on its horns and tossed him in the air. Miss Glover, who was staying in the house in the absence of Mr and Mrs Selbie, was horrified to see the animai with Mr Milne impaled on its horns. She ran for a dog to drive the bull off, and then telephoned for Dr. Gilbred and helpers. The latter quickly arrived, ajia the animal was driven off. It was found that Mr Milne was frightfully mangled, though Tie was still breathing. Constable Fry immediately set off to take him by car to the AVaikato Hospital. On April 13, 1924, Mr William Eveleigh was gored and killed by a Jersey bull on the same farm.
