ASHHURST.
(Fnom Our Own Correspondent.) ASHHURST, Sept. 14. A full church greeted the Aiaori Alethiodirit Mission Party at Ashhurst on Tuesday evening, and the presentation of the unique items was greatly appreciated by the audience. After the opening exercises Rev. F. J. Parker welcomed the party, to which welcome the party gave a typical Aiaori reply. The chairman then handed over tho control of the meeting to Sister Nicholls, who is in charge of tho party, and a delightful and typical Aiaori programme was gone through. The weird waiatas and poi danaces as well as tho individual items delighted all present, while, the address given by Sister Nicholls was listened to with rapt attention as she outlined the work among the Aiaori people, and the policy of the Alethodist Church. Prior to the meeting in tho church Sister Nicholls and members of the party were the guests of the Ashhurst Alethodist Bible class girls at a tea followed by a happy social hour together/ The Bibio Class girls also presented Sister Nicholls and her Maori companions with beautiful bouquets of choice spring blooms.
