LIFE SAVING SOCIETY.

Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 13. The council of the New Zealand Life Saving Society has decided to hold the annual championships at Greymouth on January 28 and to alter clause 17 to provide for a New Zealand standard belt and line. Another decision was that each member of a Nelson Shield team should be a bona fide amateur in accordance with tho rules of tho New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association. This will exclude paid jiatrolmen.
